Thank you, sincerely, for signing up to embark on the Quad Cities 21-Day Equity Challenge — a self-guided learning journey to create a more just, equitable community.
We’re proud that you’ve taken this step, and eager to see what happens when 1,200 (and counting!) Quad Citizens step up to break old habits and work actively toward a stronger Quad Cities.
This effort is one of the first in connection to our ongoing United for Equity project, a new initiative to increase awareness of local racial inequities and build community and political will to address them. With your help, and help from partners and investors, we aim to inspire action to reduce and prevent racial inequities across systems that impact education, income and health in the Quad Cities.
We look forward to taking this journey with you. Please share your thoughts with us, reflecting or sharing moments of inspiration on social media using #EquityChallengeQC or #UnitedQuadCities and tag @UnitedWayQC if you choose.
Finally, please take the pre-challenge survey, which helps us as we look ahead to future sessions. If you appreciate what we’re doing, please sign your name — or your organization — on as a supporter.
It’s up to all of us to build a future in which every Quad Citizen has the opportunity to develop their full potential. Thank you for joining hundreds of other Quad Citizens United for Equity. Hopeful, Rene Gellerman President & CEO United Way Quad Cities
